Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has assured of his administration's commitment to improving health and well-being of the people of Adamawa State.

Governor Fintiri disclosed this at the flaged off of distribution of drugs, commodities, monitoring and evaluation tools for quality primary healthcare service delivery across 21 local government areas of the state.

The event took place in Numan local government area, on Monday, 27th May, 2024, where the Governor reiterated the decision of his administration to make health care services accessible to all and to be of high quality.

Represented by his Deputy Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, emphasised that the philosophy of his administration is committed to leave "no one behind and leave nothing untouched", hence health has become the cardinal priority of this government.

While highlighting some of his interventions in the health sector, the governor urged  all residents of Adamawa State to reciprocate the gesture by uniting themselves and supporting the fresh air administration's drive for a healthy society.

The Governor, called on members of the general public to utilize the unique opportunity of accessing quality assured services for good health and well-being of the citizens.

In their separate contributions Commissioner for Health and Human Services Chief Felix Tangwami and the State Executive Chairman Primary Healthcare  Development Agency agency Dr. Suleiman Saidu Bashir, said the distribution is a strategic milestone in an effort to bring succour to the masses, thereby attaining the universal health coverage.

The Hama Bachama Dr. Daniel Ismaila Shaga thanked governor Fintiri for such laudable program in the healthcare services, urging him to sustain the spirit.

There was also an inspection of Sabon Pegi primary healthcare facility in Numan.

Items distributed include; Drugs for
recapitalization of drug revolving fund scheme, motorcycle to strengthen monitoring and evaluation services in the 21 local government areas, Data tools for accountability, delivery kits for pregnant women among others.

Executive Council Members, Advisers and Traditional Leaders, Well Wishers among others attended the Flaged Off Distribution of Consumables.

Highlight of the event was traditional dances by cultural troupes.
