Mal Hassan Mounde has handed over the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth and Sports to the newly appointed Permanent Secretary, Haj. Ladi Baba Hamza on the 18th of July, 2024.

He said "government work is a continuous process and that wherever you are posted to serve you most go adding that is a normal rules in the Civil Service. Some personnel serves  in office for one year, some five months etc, but in my own case, it is twenty four hours, so that's how the service works and I am glad."

Mal. Hassan Mounde thanked the management  and staff of the Ministry for the efforts put in place to support him, expressed optimism that Haj. Ladi will  continue from where he stopped. He urged them to support her and work in synergy in other to serve and deliver well.
 
The Director Sports, Mr Iliya wished the outgoing Permanent Secretary well in his newly posted office, he added that the zeal that he came with to move the  Ministry of Youth and Sports should be channelled to  his new Ministry. Mr Iliya  also welcomed the incoming Permanent Secretary to the Ministry and promised both the management and staff, accommodative and supportive nature to move the Ministry forward.

The Incoming Permanent Secretary Haj Ladi Baba Hamza,  appreciated the outgoing Permanent Secretary, the management and staff of the Ministry for the warm welcomed accorded to her. She also promised to give in her best in other to deliver on the mandates of the Ministry, adding that her doors are always open for advise that can build the Ministry.
